Welcome to Bonnechere Lodge

A quiet boutique resort on the peaceful south shore of Golden Lake, Ontario.

Whether you are looking for a perfect family getaway in one of our cottages, or in a seasonal RV site, Bonnechere Lodge is the perfect getaway.

Accommodations

COTTAGES

We have six charming cottages all facing Golden Lake. All have two bedrooms and sleep between 4 and 6 people. All have fully equipped kitchens with BBQ's, just bring your own bedding, food, and personal items.

Minimum 2-night stay. Long weekends minimum 3-night stay. July and August minimum 7-night stay from Saturday to Saturday.

See our cottages HERE.

RV Park

Looking for a seasonal getaway? We have a small 50+ park with lots of room to roam. Each site has its own fire pit and 30A service. Decks can be added with approval. The park is open from Victoria Day weekend to Thanksgiving weekend.

Five transient sites are also available with water and 30A. Two are FHU. Most sites can accommodate up to 26' RVs.

We currently have NO seasonal vacancies, however check our Trailers For Sale page for other opportunities.

Amenities

We have our own private beach with a hard sand bottom and a very shallow slope. Perfect for the kids, or just floating around.

We also have 16 boat slips available to all guests, either seasonally or in addition to cottage rental. A free boat ramp is next to the beach. Due to the shallow ramp, boats over 17 feet are not recommended.

Aluminum fishing boats with or without motors, along with peddleboats, kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards are available to rent.

The Area

Bonnechere Lodge is located in the heart of the Ottawa Valley in Renfrew County. We are close to whitewater rafting, the Bonnechere Caves, Algonquin Park, hiking, and ATV trails.

Unique towns abound, including Wilno, the site of the first Polish settlement in Canada.

Getting Here.....

Simply search for Bonnechere Lodge in Google Maps BUT if coming from the GTA your map will want you to turn off of Hwy 62 after Combermere onto Road 515.

DON'T FALL FOR IT....it's a classic "Goggle shortcut".

Just stay on Hwy 62 towards Barry's Bay and your map will correct itself after a few kilometers.
